The Forge’s New Years Eve Menu 2010/2011

A Dali-esque New Year’s Eve at the forge with Party Favors, DJ and special four course menu by Chef Dewey LoSasso.  Dinner is $350 per person (++)
includes the following:

1 Bottle of Veuve Clicquot per couple

In the Beginning

Chilled Forge Shrimp cocktail, caviar-scallion mascarpone “club”, roasted oysters filled with spinach and brie-lemon dust, grilled flatbread with lobster and herbs

Second course
Choose one

Hawaiian blue prawn risotto-charred artichokes and leeks

Foie gras “salad” truffle honey vinaigrette, dried currants, hot and sweet candied walnuts, Redland ginger blossoms

Basil seared Chilean sea bass, charred fennel and orange salad, stone crab perogie
Chinese mustard broth

Grilled double cut lamb chops, fig compote, turnip chive cakes

“Steak and eggs” grilled Creekstone filet mignon, goat cheese, porcini frittata
truffled hash browns

Dessert for the table
Spiced pumpkin fritters, white chocolate dipping sauce
Warm chocolate beignets
Lemon panna cotta
Apple cider torta with maple crème brûlè
